Even if you are not fishing (right then), we still offer a very pleasurable opportunities for relaxation. In Tiszadorogma a visit can be made to the basket weavers to observe their work. We can take you for a cart ride to the Puszta (plain). Bicycles are available for hire in the guest house (also with a child seat) for 1000 HUF a day. The Göbe Forest accessible on foot, this special nature conservancy area, which is located on the other bank of the River Tisza directly opposite to Tiszadorogma and is 10 minutes away on foot. You can take a longer tour by bicycle along the dike of the River Tisza, for example to Poroszló, where you can follow the study path of  Lake Tisza, which describes and illustrates the wild life of the lake.

You can ride horses at Czinege Horse Riding in Tiszavalk (9 km from the Guest House), where free range and guided riding, and horse coach riding are offered. We are pleased to make a booking for you.

Take a one day excursion to Eger, famous for its history and wine which is a 45 minutes trip by car. The thermal bath in Tiszacsege is a 15 minute journey by car or by bicycle a 30 minutes route. You can swim in the River Tisza at the beach by Tiszafüred (30 minutes by car), but if you are looking for a less busy place to swim, the backwaters at Tiszabábolna which is suitable for bathing is only 5 minutes away (10 minutes by bike).

If you are not fishing it is still worthwhile to take a longer boat tour on the wonderful waters and backwaters of the Tisza.
Our half-day tour offer: from Tiszadorogma 20 minutes on the Living Tisza until the Buláti island. All the way through the side branch along the island (10 minutes) to the entrance to Lake Tisza (Flushing Channel IX). Along the Flushing (10 minutes) to the Valki Basin of  Lake Tisza. Here we switch over to an electric engine. Silently we slowly sweep into the bird sanctuary (which is available for visit from June) beside the reedy areas of Lake Tisza, where cormorants, herons, and numberless other water birds crouching almost in front of our eyes (60 minutes). We reach the Small Tisza, where we can again progress with the engine (30 minutes). On the bank of the Small Tisza we get out to finish our sandwiches (30 minutes). On the return journey, it is with the petrol engine all the way until Channel IX and from there back to Tiszadorogma (60 minutes).
